This company is totally scam
I recently had a terrible experience with Just Energy, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others about their deceitful practices.
First and foremost, Just Energy misled me into believing that their energy rates were cheaper than my local utility provider, ComEd. However, after switching to their service, I discovered that this couldn't be further from the truth. Not only were their rates higher, but they also failed to inform me about the additional charges hidden within the contract agreement. One of the most egregious charges I encountered was the mysterious "green leaf" program, which purportedly added $40 to my bill every month. I never consented to this program, nor was I provided with any explanation of its purpose. When I reached out to their customer service for clarification, I was met with hostility and intimidation tactics. They repeatedly threatened me, claiming that all calls were recorded, and refused to address my concerns. Furthermore, communicating with their customer service representatives was a nightmare. They are difficult to understand, making it nearly impossible to effectively communicate my issues. Despite being at work for the majority of the day and living in a modest two-bedroom apartment, my energy bills skyrocketed after switching to Just Energy. Instead of the promised savings, I found myself facing bills that were triple the amount I was accustomed to paying. Overall, my experience with Just Energy has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their deceptive practices, exorbitant charges, and appalling customer service have left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. I urge anyone considering their services to proceed with extreme caution and explore alternative options to avoid falling victim to their unethical business practices. |

Dont sign, unless you want to pay double
Who charges .80 a term? When I told them they where charging me a car payment for heat, I told them I couldn't afford that. They said instantly they could cut it in half. So that's. 40 a term. How ever that's all they could do. They said also sir this could take one or two billing cycles. YUP! They weren't kidding. Next bill 1/5/2021 $413. Wow, pay it. Next bill 2/5/2021 $435.41. Thanks Just energy for stealing from my family. How does it take 2months to adjust the terms of use. Monday day morning I going to pay the cancelation fee. This is ridiculous. At lease with Nicor I can go on the payment plan, and pay the same every month. |
